Three Tetbury Hospital consultants have agreed to take to the skies and wing walk as a dare devil challenge to fundraise for vital medical equipment and improvements to the hospital facilities.

Meet the Tetbury Hospital Wing Walk Team
Mr Ian Comaish, Consultant Ophthalmologist
Mr Mike Rigby, Medical Director and Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr Henry Murdoch, Consultant Anaesthetist and Clinical Lead for Anaesthesia.

On Tuesday 31st August they will take individual flights over Rendcomb Airfield, a World War 1 grass airfield near Cirencester. They will fly on the top wing of a Boeing Stearman biplane and will experience and exciting series of flypast, zoom climbs, steep dives at a flying speed of 130mph and climbing to 600ft!

Mr Ian Comaish has been a consultant at Tetbury Hospital for many years and has performed thousands of cataract procedures. Ian says “Tetbury Hospital is not only a fabulous place to work, but it makes a genuine difference for the people of Tetbury. It’s simply a fantastic asset for the local population.”
